Zero Cases, the UK’s leading manufacturer of protective cases, containers and enclosures with over 32,000 standard sizes, has launched a marketing drive to raise its profile in key European markets. The company says it is confident its innovative product lines will attract the attention of buyers in the oil and gas, broadcast, aerospace, and defence and security sectors within the Eurozone and in parts of Eastern Europe.

The company’s portfolio of reusable, recyclable and low-carbon transit and storage containers, carrying cases, rackmount cases and components (such as precision miniatures and stock enclosures) are engineered to meet and exceed the most demanding specifications. Made of deep-drawn aluminium or rotomoulded plastic, they are lightweight yet immensely strong, and offer maximum protection against shock and vibration, ensuring cargo and equipment are fully protected when transported by land, sea and air.

“Given the current climate in the UK, it makes sense for us to search for new opportunities across Europe,” commented Zero’s plant manager Mike Dimmack. “In particular we don’t consider the Eurozone to be a mature market and we are talking to a number of companies and governments who we feel could benefit from our expertise.”

Zero is promoting its products – designed and manufactured at its Smethwick factory – by attending several trade exhibitions on the continent. It is also revamping its range of brochures and relaunching its electronic mailing service.

A vital advantage which Zero can offer potential customers is its competitive lead times, which for rush orders it is able to shorten from the standard six to eight weeks to as little as three to four weeks. This can be achieved thanks to its network of local suppliers, many of whom are fellow members of Made in the Midlands.

“Where at all possible, we are extremely keen to use the local supply chain to source products and materials such as fasteners and foam,” explained MikZero Cases, the UK’s leading manufacturer of protective cases, containers and enclosures with over 32,000 standard sizes, has launched a marketing drive to raise its profile in key European markets. It means we can reduce stock levels and meet increasing customer demands for quicker lead times. There are definite advantages to keeping it local.”
